TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. INTRODUCTION AND AGREEMENT TO TERMS

In Short: By using ResumeNeu in any way, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms apply to all Users of the Services, including visitors, registered Users, and customers who purchase credits or other paid offerings. Your access to and use of the Services is conditioned upon your acceptance and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You have read and understood these Terms and our Privacy Policy;
• You have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a binding contract with us;
• If you are accessing the Services on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that person or entity to these Terms;
• Your use of the Services will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and these Terms.

If you disagree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Services.

2. INTERPRETATION AND DEFINITIONS

2.1 Interpretation

The words whose initial letter is capitalized shall have meanings defined under this section and elsewhere in these Terms. The following rules of interpretation apply unless the context requires otherwise:

• Words in the singular include the plural and vice versa;
• References to "including" or "includes" mean "including, but not limited to";
• Headings and section titles are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation;
• Any reference to a "day" means a calendar day unless expressly stated otherwise.

2.2 Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• "Account" means a unique account created by you to access the Services or portions of the Services.
• "AI Providers" means third-party artificial intelligence service providers that we use to power certain features of the Services, including but not limited to OpenAI and any successors or additional AI vendors we may engage from time to time.
• "Credits" means prepaid usage units purchased by you that can be consumed to access specific features or generate content (such as resumes and cover letters) through the Services.
• "Effective Date" means the date on which you first access or use the Services, or the "Last updated" date stated at the top of these Terms, whichever is later.
• "Intellectual Property Rights" means all present and future rights in and to patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade names, domain names, trade secrets, know-how, design rights, database rights, and any other intellectual property rights, whether registered or unregistered.
• "Lemon Squeezy" means Lemon Squeezy, LLC and its group companies, which we use as a third-party payment processor to handle billing and transactions for the Services.
• "Output" or "AI Output" means any content, text, suggestions, resumes, cover letters, or other materials generated by or through the Services using AI Providers based on your inputs, prompts, or data.
• "Personal Data" or "Personal Information" has the meaning set out in our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
• "Privacy Policy" means our Privacy Policy available at https://resumeneu.tech/privacy, as updated from time to time.
• "Services" has the meaning set out in the Introduction above and includes the Site, the Platform, and all related features provided by LX DevLab.
• "User Content" means any information, text, files, resumes, cover letters, data, or other content that you upload, submit, or otherwise make available through the Services, including any information you provide to generate AI Output.
• "You" or "User" means the individual accessing or using the Services, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Services.

3. CHANGES TO TERMS

In Short: We can update these Terms. If you keep using the Services after changes, you accept the updated Terms.

We may modify or update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business, Services, legal obligations, or for other reasons. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We may also provide additional notice (such as by email or a prominent notice on the Site) if the changes are material in our reasonable judgment.

Any revised Terms will be effective immediately when posted unless we specify otherwise. Your continued access to or use of the Services after the revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Services.

4. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

In Short: ResumeNeu helps you generate and manage resumes and cover letters using AI. We do not guarantee any specific job, interview, or outcome.

ResumeNeu is an AI-assisted platform designed to help Users create, edit, and manage resumes, cover letters, and related job-application documents. The core functionality of the Services may include, without limitation:

• AI-powered generation, editing, and optimization of resumes and cover letters;
• Templates, suggestions, and formatting assistance for job-application documents;
• Document management features, such as saving, duplicating, or downloading generated content;
• User account management, including preferences, settings, and credit balance;
• Other features we may introduce or modify from time to time to improve the Services.

We do not provide legal, career, or HR advice. Any guidance, suggestions, or AI Output generated through the Services is provided for informational and productivity purposes only. You remain solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before using it in real-world applications, including job applications, interviews, or professional communication.

We do not guarantee:

• That you will receive any job offer, interview, or callback as a result of using the Services;
• That any resume or cover letter will pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or meet the criteria of any specific employer or recruiter;
• That AI Output will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your specific role, industry, or location.

We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features or functionalities at any time, with or without notice, provided that such changes do not fundamentally deprive you of the core functionality you have paid for during your current credit validity period, subject to the disclaimers and limitations set forth in these Terms.

5. ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY

In Short: You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure.

5.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Services, including the ability to purchase Credits, generate documents, or save your work, you must create an Account. By creating an Account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information as requested;
• Update your information promptly if it changes;
• Not create an Account using false information or on behalf of someone else without authorization;
• Maintain only one Account unless explicitly permitted by us.

5.2 Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your Account. You agree not to:

• Share your password or allow others to access your Account;
• Use another User’s Account without permission;
• Bypass or circumvent authentication mechanisms.

If you suspect unauthorized access, you must notify us immediately at contact@laxmank.dev. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your Account credentials.

5.3 Suspension for Security Reasons

We may temporarily suspend or restrict access to your Account if we detect suspicious activity, repeated failed logins, or other behavior that indicates a potential security breach. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you, but we are not obligated to do so where doing so may compromise security.

6. ACCESS TO THE SERVICES AND ACCEPTABLE USE

In Short: You can use the Services if you follow the rules and comply with all applicable laws.

6.1 License to Use the Services

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, LX DevLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use solely for creating and managing your own job-application documents.

6.2 General Use Requirements

In using the Services, you agree that you will:

• Use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
• Comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations;
• Review and edit AI Output before using it for any real-world purpose;
• Not attempt to exploit or misuse the Services, including by circumventing technical limits or intended use policies.

6.3 Restrictions

You agree not to:

• Reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or otherwise use the Services except as expressly permitted;
• Attempt to copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or access the source code of any part of the Services;
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to interact with the Services without our written consent;
• Upload malware, harmful scripts, or attempt to disrupt the Services in any way;
• Bulk-generate AI Output for resale or redistribution;
• Interfere with or degrade performance of the Services or networks connected to them.

Violating Section 6 may result in immediate termination of your Account without refund, as detailed in Section 14.

7. PLANS, CREDITS, AND BILLING

In Short: You buy Credits, use them for document generation, and they expire after one year.

7.1 Credit System

The Services operate on a prepaid credit model. When you purchase a plan, package, or bundle, you receive a quantity of Credits associated with your Account. Each resume or cover letter generation, or any other feature designated as credit-based, consumes Credits at a rate specified in the user interface.

7.2 Available Credit Packages

We currently offer the following credit packages. Pricing and availability are subject to change at any time without prior notice:

Prices shown are approximate and displayed in United States Dollars (USD) for reference. Lemon Squeezy automatically converts and charges in your local currency at checkout. The actual amount charged may differ from the displayed price due to exchange rate fluctuations and payment processor fees.

Free Credits granted on signup are provided as a courtesy and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Free Credits carry no monetary value and are not eligible for refund.

7.3 Credit Expiration

All Credits purchased expire 365 days (one year) from the date of purchase. Expired Credits are permanently removed from your Account and cannot be restored, refunded, or compensated. It is your sole responsibility to use Credits before they expire. We are under no obligation to notify you of impending expiration.

7.4 No Transfer or Resale

You may not resell, trade, transfer, or assign Credits to any other person or Account unless explicitly authorized in writing by LX DevLab.

7.5 Pricing and Taxes

All prices displayed on the Site are subject to change at any time without prior notice. Prices may be shown in different currencies depending on your region. Taxes, duties, GST, VAT, or other applicable levies may be charged depending on your country's regulations and Lemon Squeezy's tax handling policies. You are solely responsible for all applicable taxes on your purchases.

7.6 One Credit per Generation

Each AI-powered resume or cover letter generation consumes one (1) Credit from your Account balance, regardless of whether you choose to use, download, or discard the generated output. Credits are deducted at the time of generation and are non-reversible. Failed generations due to system errors (not user errors) may be re-credited at our sole discretion.

8. PAYMENT PROCESSING VIA LEMON SQUEEZY

In Short: Payments are securely handled by Lemon Squeezy; we never store your card details.

8.1 Third-Party Billing Provider

All purchases, billing, and payment transactions for the Services are processed by **Lemon Squeezy**, a third-party payment processor. By making a purchase, you agree to comply with Lemon Squeezy’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, available at:

8.2 No Storage of Payment Information

We do not store or process your credit card, debit card, or payment instrument details. All sensitive payment data is handled securely by Lemon Squeezy.

8.3 Billing Accuracy

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information. If your payment fails or your payment method is declined, Lemon Squeezy may automatically retry the transaction or prompt you to update your details.

8.4 Fraud Prevention

Lemon Squeezy and LX DevLab reserve the right to refuse or cancel purchases suspected of fraud, unauthorized use, or violation of these Terms.

9. REFUNDS, CANCELLATIONS, AND CHARGEBACKS

In Short: Refunds are allowed within 7 days, even if Credits were used, but approval is at our discretion. No partial refunds.

9.1 General Refund Policy

All purchases of Credits are final and non-refundable by default. Credits are digital goods that are delivered and made available immediately upon purchase. By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a digital product that is consumed upon use.

9.2 Discretionary Refund Window

Notwithstanding Section 9.1, we may, at our sole and absolute discretion, consider refund requests submitted within 7 calendar days of the original purchase date, provided that:

• No Credits from the purchase have been used or consumed;
• The request is submitted via email to contact@resumeneu.tech with your order ID;
• There is no evidence of abuse, fraud, or manipulation;
• You have not previously received a refund from us.

Refund requests made after 7 days, or where any Credits have been consumed, will not be considered. Approval of a refund is entirely at our discretion and no User may demand, assume, or claim entitlement to a refund.

9.3 Credit Reversal on Refund

If a refund is approved, all Credits associated with that purchase will be immediately and permanently removed from your Account. You will lose access to any unused Credits from the refunded purchase.

9.4 No Partial Refunds

We do not issue partial refunds for unused Credits or partially consumed plans under any circumstances.

9.5 Free Credits

Free Credits granted on signup or through promotional offers carry no monetary value and are never eligible for refund, cash-out, or compensation of any kind.

9.6 Chargebacks

You agree to contact LX DevLab at contact@resumeneu.tech before initiating any chargeback, dispute, or payment reversal with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider. If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us:

• Your Account will be permanently and irrevocably terminated;
• All Credits (used and unused) will be forfeited without compensation;
• We will dispute the chargeback and provide all supporting evidence to the payment processor;
• You may be banned from creating future accounts or making future purchases;
• We reserve the right to pursue collection of the disputed amount plus any chargeback fees incurred.

Fraudulent, bad-faith, or serial chargebacks may result in legal action and reporting to fraud prevention databases.

9.7 Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed through Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. Processing may take 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. LX DevLab is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or financial institutions.

9.8 Consumer Protection Laws

Nothing in this Section 9 limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction that cannot be excluded by contract. In the event of any conflict between this Section and mandatory local law, the mandatory local law shall prevail to the extent of the conflict only.

10. AI PROVIDERS AND DATA PROCESSING

In Short: We use third-party AI providers such as OpenAI to generate content. Your inputs and outputs may be processed by them.

10.1 Use of AI Providers

The Services use artificial intelligence technologies to generate resumes, cover letters, and other content. These features rely on third-party AI providers, including but not limited to:

• OpenAI (primary provider);
• Any additional AI vendors we may integrate with in the future.

10.2 Data Sent to AI Providers

Your inputs (such as job history, skills, and text prompts) and the resulting AI Output may be transmitted to these AI Providers for processing. By using AI-powered features, you consent to this processing.

10.3 No Control Over AI Provider Output

We do not control or manually curate AI Output. Output may include inaccuracies, incomplete information, or content that does not fit your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing all content before using it.

10.4 Compliance with AI Provider Terms

Your use of AI features must comply with the acceptable use policies of OpenAI and any other AI Providers. Violations may result in termination of your Account.

11. AI OUTPUT, ACCURACY, AND USER RESPONSIBILITY

In Short: AI-generated resumes and cover letters may contain errors. You must review everything. We are not liable for inaccurate output or job-related outcomes.

11.1 Nature of AI Output

The Services generate content using artificial intelligence. AI-generated content (the “AI Output”) is produced automatically based on your inputs and context. AI Output may:

• Contain factual inaccuracies or outdated information;
• Produce content not suitable for your background or industry;
• Include biased, incomplete, or generic results;
• Fail to align with employer expectations or ATS systems;
• Misinterpret your inputs or misrepresent your experience.

11.2 No Professional Advice

AI Output does not constitute legal, career, HR, or professional advice. We make no guarantees that documents generated through the Services will result in interviews, job offers, promotions, immigration approvals, employer responses, or any specific outcomes.

11.3 Your Responsibility for Reviewing Output

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for:

• Reviewing all AI Output for accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness;
• Ensuring that all statements in your resume or cover letter are truthful and not misleading;
• Correcting any errors or inaccuracies;
• Removing any AI-generated content that may misrepresent your abilities or background.

11.4 No Liability for Outcomes or Losses

LX DevLab is not responsible or liable for:

• Any harm, loss, or damage resulting from your use of AI Output;
• Negative employer reactions or rejection due to AI-generated content;
• ATS failures caused by formatting or phrasing from AI Output;
• Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in resumes or cover letters produced by the Services;
• Your decision to rely on AI Output for employment, legal, or professional purposes.

11.5 Employer Policies and Legal Compliance

Some employers, industries, or jurisdictions may have strict regulations regarding automated content generation, false claims, or misrepresentations. You are responsible for ensuring that AI Output used in your job applications complies with applicable laws, employer rules, and industry standards.

12. USER CONTENT AND LICENSE GRANT

In Short: You own your data, but you grant us permission to process it to provide the Services.

12.1 User Content Ownership

You retain all rights to the information, data, and other materials (“User Content”) that you upload, submit, or otherwise provide through the Services. LX DevLab does not claim ownership over your User Content.

12.2 License to Process User Content

By submitting User Content, you grant LX DevLab a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Use, reproduce, and process your User Content to provide, maintain, and improve the Services;
• Transmit User Content to AI Providers to generate AI Output;
• Store, analyze, and utilize your content for debugging, internal analytics, or to maintain system functionality.

This license is solely for the purpose of operating ResumeNeu and providing you with the requested functionality.

12.3 Responsibility for User Content

You are solely responsible for User Content you provide and for ensuring that it:

• Is truthful, accurate, and not misleading;
• Does not violate any laws or the rights of others;
• Does not contain confidential information belonging to third parties (e.g., employer secrets, proprietary data, or personal data of others);
• Complies with employer policies, school policies, or other governing rules.

12.4 Deletion of User Content

You may delete User Content or your account at any time, subject to our Privacy Policy and data retention requirements. Some anonymized or cached data may remain for security, backups, or audit purposes.

13. PROHIBITED CONDUCT AND MISUSE POLICY

In Short: You cannot misuse the Service. Violations may result in account termination, data deletion, and banning.

13.1 General Prohibitions

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Attempting to hack, penetrate, or gain unauthorized access to the Services or other accounts;
• Circumventing usage limits, Credits, or security measures;
• Scraping or harvesting data from the Services;
• Using ResumeNeu for spam, phishing, fraud, or unethical job application practices;
• Impersonating another individual or falsifying your identity;
• Submitting harmful scripts, malware, or any disabling code;
• Reverse-engineering or attempting to extract models, datasets, or proprietary algorithms;
• Bulk-generating resumes for resale, distribution, or commercial exploitation;
• Using AI Output in a way that violates employer guidelines or legal requirements;
• Leaking, exposing, or mishandling sensitive data or confidential information.

13.2 Abuse of Refunds or Chargebacks

You may not misuse refund policies, file false disputes, or exploit chargebacks to obtain Credits or services without payment.

13.3 Abuse of AI Systems

You may not intentionally provide harmful, misleading, or malicious prompts that could cause AI models or systems to produce harmful or illegal content.

13.4 Threats to Platform Security

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

• Attempting denial-of-service attacks;
• Load testing without authorization;
• Scanning ports or probing infrastructure;
• Interfering with our servers or backend systems.

13.5 Consequences of Violations

If you violate any part of this Section 13 or any other provision of these Terms, we may take any action we deem appropriate, including:

• Suspending or terminating your Account immediately;
• Revoking access to all Credits (without refund);
• Banning your device, IP address, or payment method;
• Deleting generated Output or User Content;
• Reporting illegal activities to relevant authorities;
• Pursuing civil or criminal legal action.

Misuse of the platform is taken seriously and may result in permanent prohibition from using ResumeNeu or any LX DevLab services.

14. SUSPENSION, RESTRICTION, AND TERMINATION

In Short: We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.

14.1 Our Right to Suspend or Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to the Services (including your Account and Credits) at any time, with or without notice, if:

• You violate any provision of these Terms;
• You engage in abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behavior;
• Your actions threaten the security, stability, or integrity of the Services;
• We receive legitimate complaints regarding your conduct;
• Your payment or chargeback activity is suspicious or abusive.

14.2 User-Initiated Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or deleting your account through your settings. Upon termination:

• All Credits (used or unused) are forfeited and non-refundable;
• Access to stored User Content or AI Output may be permanently removed;
• We may retain anonymized logs or records for security and compliance.

14.3 Effects of Termination

Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to the termination date, including payment obligations or liabilities under these Terms.

14.4 No Liability for Termination

We are not liable to you or any third party for suspension, termination, or deletion of your Account under this Section 14.

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

In Short: We own the platform, software, branding, and technology. You own your data.

15.1 Ownership of the Services

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Services, including but not limited to:

• Software, algorithms, code, and backend systems;
• AI model integrations, workflows, and processing pipelines;
• Designs, trademarks, branding, and logos;
• Templates, text, layouts, and UI elements;
• Documentation and training materials;
• All Intellectual Property Rights therein;

are the exclusive property of LX DevLab or its licensors.

15.2 License Restrictions

You may not, without our prior written permission:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Services;
• Reproduce or distribute the Services or any part thereof;
• Attempt to derive source code or underlying algorithms;
• Use the Services for competitive analysis or product development;
• Use our trademarks or branding in any way that suggests endorsement.

15.3 No Transfer of Ownership

These Terms do not transfer to you any ownership of the Services or any intellectual property belonging to LX DevLab. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.

16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, LINKS, AND INTEGRATIONS

In Short: We integrate with third-party tools (like OpenAI and Lemon Squeezy). They have their own terms.

16.1 Third-Party Services

Certain features of the Services rely on third-party providers, including but not limited to:

• OpenAI (AI content generation);
• Lemon Squeezy (billing and payments);
• Cloud hosting providers, analytics tools, and communication services.

By using the Services, you agree to comply with these providers’ terms and policies.

16.2 No Responsibility for Third-Party Policies

We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services. Your interactions with third-party tools are solely between you and those providers.

16.3 External Links

The Site may contain links to external websites. We do not endorse or take responsibility for third-party content or services.

17. SERVICE AVAILABILITY, CHANGES, AND BETA FEATURES

In Short: We may update or change the platform at any time and cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

17.1 Availability

We strive to keep ResumeNeu available and functioning at all times. However, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The Services may experience outages due to:

• Maintenance or updates;
• Server load or failures;
• Issues with third-party providers such as OpenAI or hosting services;
• Cyberattacks, DDoS attempts, or security incidents;
• Force majeure events.

17.2 Modifications to Services

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. This includes non-essential features, UI elements, templates, AI models, and credit usage pricing.

17.3 Beta Features

Some features may be labeled as “beta,” “experimental,” or “early access.” These may be incomplete, unstable, or subject to change. You use such features at your own risk.

18. DISCLAIMERS OF WARRANTY

In Short: The platform is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about accuracy, reliability, or outcomes.

18.1 General Disclaimer

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LX DevLab disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability;
• Fitness for a particular purpose;
• Non-infringement;
• Accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of information;
• Availability or uptime of the Services;
• Any guarantee that AI Output will meet your expectations.

18.2 No Guarantee of Job-Related Outcomes

We make no guarantees that AI-generated resumes, cover letters, or suggestions will:

• Secure job interviews;
• Pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS);
• Result in employment, promotions, or career advancement;
• Be accepted by employers or recruiters.

You are fully responsible for verifying and editing content generated by the Service.

18.3 No Responsibility for Third-Party Failures

We are not responsible for failures of third-party platforms such as job portals, email providers, ATS systems, or AI Providers.

19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In Short: Your legal remedies are limited. We are not liable for most damages.

19.1 Maximum Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LX DevLab’s total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the Services will not exceed:

The amount you paid to LX DevLab in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

19.2 Exclusion of Certain Damages

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits or revenue;
• Loss of employment opportunities;
• Loss of business or data;
• Emotional distress or reputational damage;
• Losses arising from inaccurate AI Output.

19.3 Applicability

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability. In such cases, the above limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20. INDEMNIFICATION

In Short: If you misuse the platform and cause problems, you agree to cover our losses.

20.1 Your Agreement to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LX DevLab, its proprietor, officers, contractors, and partners from and against all claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of:

• Your use or misuse of the Services;
• Your violation of these Terms;
• Your use of AI Output in a misleading or unlawful manner;
• Your violation of any third-party rights;
• Your misuse of employer or personal data;
• Your breach of applicable laws or regulations.

21. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

In Short: Our Privacy Policy governs how your data is handled.

Your use of the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using ResumeNeu, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the Privacy Policy, including:

• What data we collect;
• How we process and store it;
• How AI Providers may receive certain inputs and outputs;
• Your rights under applicable laws.
